What I liked
I absolutely loved working with such a loving and resilient team! At a time of much uncertainty, I was rather unsure as to whether or not Tulane WaveCorps would still proceed with the summer opportunities. However, upon learning that the positions were going to be held remotely, I was all the more excited to work with Electric Girls, a local nonprofit whose mission is to support young female leaders in pursuing interests within the STEM sphere! I learned so many skills and lessons along the way, from grant research to curriculum building. Such an experience has truly fostered within me a greater passion for working with children!
