What I liked

Having an office, gaining administrative experience, seeing professional level music every day, and North Carolina was gorgeous!

What I wish was different

I wish I would've been paid a little more, and I wish the experience lasted longer.

Advice

Take any chance you have to organize your office, work space, day planner, etc.

Building relationships with the staff, faculty and students; having a role of authority/mentorship with students; gaining experiences within my intended occupational field (music/music administration)

What I wish was different

Avoiding difficulties/disputes among staff members (professionalism vs personal issues)

Advice

Make the most out of all the opportunities available to you, whether it be developing relationships with the students, networking with staff/faculty, or attending concerts/lectures when you are in an environment filled with individuals who are the same passions/talents/interests as you.
