Work that had a postiive impact on a community I cared about.
Working with friends.
Working with Children.
Developing my skills as a peer counselor, community-builder, and educator.
What I wish was different
I think camp jobs often feel "unprofessional" or like they "don't count" as real job experience. I had a lot of anxiety about doing this job (which I loved and think was very valuable) over internships or jobs in "applicable" fields.
Advice
Doing work that you find valuable and makes you happy is a good enough reason to take a job.
