I learned so much and loved the chance to get inside-experience with analysts and agents. I got to do some of my own work on digital forensics and social media analysis.
What I wish was different
Some days were slower than others and a lot of my time was spent observing. Although I had a great experience, I would have liked to do some more hands on work of my own there.
Advice
Listen and ask questions. It is okay to not know things or understand them. This is how you are going to get the most out of the internship. Also network! Meet as many professionals as you can. You will have opportunities to meet people outside of the office, don't hesitate to introduce yourself even if your an intern.
