I liked the hands-on experience while I did the research. By doing experiments first hand, I learned a lot and I grew as a student and as a scientist. I also liked that I was able to make so many connections through the professor that I did my research with.
What I wish was different
Advice
My advice would be to just ask. I think a lot of students are afraid or hesitant to reach out to Drexel professors for research opportunities becuase they fear rejection. From my experience, all of the Drexel professors are very open and always ready to accept and mentor undergraduates who are looking for research experience.
