About drawchange

We believe that every child, regardless of housing status, deserves the opportunity to express themselves and imagine a brighter future. We provide empowering art experiences to children locally and globally, using art therapy-based instruction to improve school attendance and academic performance.

What you’ll do here:
As a volunteer or intern, you aren’t just a face in the crowd. You are a change-maker. Our team members assist in:

- Facilitating transformative art programs for children in shelters.
- Developing creative strategies to expand our reach in Atlanta, Orlando, and beyond.
- Building the professional skills needed to lead in the non-profit sector.
- Direct mentorship from our founder/ceo to guide you in your career.

Who we’re looking for:
We seek passionate, creative, and reliable individuals who believe in the power of art to create real, lasting change. If you want a role where your work has a visible, emotional impact from day one, we want to meet you.

Reviews

Program Director Assistant Intern

April 2020 - August 2020 Orlando, FL
“Working for drawchange was an amazing experience that I'd recommend to any college student. It's a small company, but their impact is big. You really feel like you're making a difference working for them. The team was wonderful to work with and always valued my opinions and inputs. They give you a lot of autonomy, so you don't feel like you're being micromanaged. I would highly recommend this internship! ”

Shelter/Adminstrative Intern

December 2023 - July 2024 Atlanta, GA
“Everyone at drawchange is extremely passionate about the mission at hand. This is so important to a nonprofit and made my internship worthwhile. I grew to become passionate about the needs of the children myself and going to the shelters is one of the most fulfilling experiences one can have. I got to witness the children grow and prosper from week to week, and really absorb the purpose of what we do. drawchange has a real impact on the children of the homeless community.”
