What I liked

My topic was the "Flow and dynamics of Coronavirus in Iowa" so, working on the recent burning topic was super interesting. I was getting all the data I needed and I worked with Dr. Pendleton who is one the greatest professor of all time.

What I wish was different

I wish this experience could be longer and in person. Because of the COVID 19, it was remote.

Advice

Be ready to work hard if you want to see the result. Also, be emotionally and mentally strong because you will get a lot of failures.

What I liked

I liked getting experience in my field, and doing work that I am passionate about. I got to spend time outdoors during field data collection weeks, and was able to present my findings to a professional audience.

What I wish was different

I wish that there had been more structure to my work, and a more set schedule. As certain samples could only be analyzed every few hours, on data analysis weeks, I often had large chunks of time where I struggled to find productive things to do.
