The management was very nice at times. There was a heavy work load, which made time go by quickly. I got to interact with very influential people inside and outside of Jacksonville.
What I wish was different
The pay was not enough for the work load. You’re basically the front desk, the reservationist, lead security, and babysitter.
Advice
I would advise anyone looking to enter the hospitality field to consider being a front desk receptionist for a year. It gives helpful insight to what happens behind the scenes in typical hospitality jobs.
