What I liked

The interdisciplinary aspect of researching what Conservation looked like in Seattle. The cohort aspect was also amazing.

What I wish was different

Advice

We talked a lot about diversity and inclusion. The program completely shifts your perspective of Conservation. Be prepared for an intellectually and emotionally stimulating summer

Scholar/Intern

June - August 2018 • Seattle, WA

What I liked

Very interdisciplinary program acquiring students from all across the country from different backgrounds. For me it was a nice segue into the field of conservation, environmentalism, environmental justice, and many fascinating intersections.

What I wish was different

Nothing

Advice

I appreciate the two year aspect to the program where the first year essentially gets you orientated to not only Seattle but a significant portion of the state of WA allowing you to see different professionals and spaces across the area.
