I loved the team, the office, and the way DMBA took care of its employees. Plenty of activities and perks.
What I wish was different
I wish I had the chance to apply this internship toward my degree, I found out later that even though they were looking for Stat majors, the stats program at BYU refused to use this internship toward any college credit.
Advice
Take the opportunity to expand what you do by looking outside your college/major! diversity is good in terms of professional experience. I found out about this internship and was prepared to join the team through the Capital Markets Academy class here at BYU before I moved up to the SLC campus.

What I liked
I learned a great deal more than I thought I would. It far exceeded any expectations that I had, and It completely helped shape my career decisions.
What I wish was different
When I started, I wished that I was more involved in all the work of the team, but I wasn't simply because I did not have the knowledge to help. I have always been included, and now I feel that I contribute to the team, and that I am much more valuable.
Advice
I would say that it's a good idea to not get frustrated during an internship. Interns are new to the field, and they are learning! Don't compare yourself to the people that have been in the field for years.
