I can do 100% remote with flexible hours. The work assignments are also very doable while challenging at the same time, and the workload is pretty light. The team environment/ company culture is friendly and supportive of you and your path.
What I wish was different
I wish some of the work I'm assigned to were bigger (and more important) projects, because there is a clear difference between what an intern is assigned to vs. full-time employees.
Advice
Communicate frequently with your team and make the most out of your experience, because there are many great people with great experiences you can learn from.

Operations Coordinator
June - August 2019 • Newport, KY
What I liked
Surrounded by career-driven individuals. Busy work environment. Trendy office space. Catered office lunch on Monday's. Ping Pong playroom. Weekly pay. Never a dull moment. Able to utilize two computer screens at once to get work completed efficiently. I wish I had that same advantage when it comes to getting assignments completed for school LOL.
What I wish was different
Longer work assignment. I went through a temp agency and although there was a start and stop date, I chose to end my assignment early to be able to focus solely on school once the semester began. However, I wish there was a way to maintain my shift and work part-time at the same time. Sadly, that is not always feasible.
Advice
As I mentioned previously, the department I worked in was extremely busy. Whereas employees were glued to their mobile devices in and outside of the job. That type of position is not for everyone and can cause ongoing stress. It is up to you to give 110% when it comes to your job. However, it is also up to you to maintain good health. No one can do that but you! Therefore no matter what job you choose to take, always find a way to separate work from play in order to maintain your sanity and good health.

Sales Intern
May - July 2019 • Cincinnati, OH
What I liked
Company culture, location, training, hands-on learning, customer service.
What I wish was different
It was not sales focused. Interns did not engage in prospecting or cold-calling customers. For a sales internship, I wish we had more opportunities to develop in those 2 areas.
Advice
Overall great experience for a first internship, especially if you are looking for some real experience in customer service and problem-solving. Most of your time will be spent on the phone, so be ready for that and do not be afraid to call.
