New Hire Trainer

April - October 2019 • Orem, UT

What I liked

The people that work at DishOne are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet.

What I wish was different

I wish management had been more involved, or at least seemed like they cared. No PTO and if you don't ask for a day off at least two weeks in advance, you won't get that day off.

Advice

If you go to work at DishOne try to limit it to just the summer, after the summer they plummet in productivity.

Sales rep

May - August 2018 • Indianapolis, IN

What I liked

It was a great experience and is something I will never forget. It took me way out of my comfort zone. This internship increased my confidence in my selling abilities dramatically.

What I wish was different

I wish I was more prepared for the atmosphere of sales I was going into. It started out rough, but one I got past the learning curve it got really easy.

Advice

Never give up. Sales is difficult because you have to deal with rejection. In this job I had to go through 25 to 30 no's before I got a yes. My advice would be to always perceiver and am high. Hit your goals and never give up. Those that give up digging for their goals are always three feet away from gold.
