What I liked
Stereotypical answer, I know, but the culture was great. My manager and I got along very well and we shared many interests. While he was fairly overworked, in my opinion, he made time each and every day to check-in on the status of my project and offer advice where he could. Unfortunately, I was the only member of my team with any statistics or data science knowledge meaning my work was fairly isolated from others. Nevertheless, the experience at Diligent and the results of my project are what led me to have 4 different during the Fall 2021 recruiting cycle. They give real, important projects to interns which is likely more important than the company name on a resume because you can talk about said project in subsequent interviews.
