I loved that it was a job where we gave the learners the tools to make every bit of information they learned their own. There was no one way to complete a problem, discuss a solution or discover a skill. We gave them the tools and they used their wit and grit to put it into fruition.
What I wish was different
Nothing. The experience was one of a kind.
Advice
To be patient. Teaching young ones isn't easy and teaching teenagers during a pandemic was a new problem for many this summer especially if you were new to the situation but the outcomes far outweighed any struggles or issues.
