What I liked
Great work experience in an even greater faith-filled environment! Kind, helpful people, reasonable wages, flexible hours, various positions for different job experiences, and a beautiful location. All-around a really positive summer work experience! In summer-long positions, housing, food, and many more benefits are provided on location at no cost all summer!
What I wish was different
For me, this job is at home, which is nice. However for others, it might be difficult to be far from home in a brand new place for the entire summer since it is only in one location.
Advice
If you enjoy or think you would enjoy any of the following things: camping, kids, cooking/preparing food, the outdoors, community, fun summer activities, making money, being surrounded by kind people, and learning more about Jesus/exploring your faith, Dickson Valley is the place for you! There are several open positions, ranging from kitchen staff to photographer to lifeguard to camp counselor, so there is really a job for everyone! You are guaranteed to grow in many ways, have a lot of fun, and make life-long friendships.

What I liked
Dickson Valley is a great community where you can grow your soft skills and learn new skills. Being able to serve the guest and others was rewarding. You get to live on the Dickson valley property during the summer and food is provided.
