I loved working with kids and being able to be a role model that they can follow. Being able to instill Christ like values in these children early on is very rewarding.
What I wish was different
I wish I had been paid better, however that isn’t why I did it. Taking that job, while it was fun, really put me in a financial low point.
Advice
If you do not like children, do not work with them. Seeing other counselors that had a hard time with kids and how discouraged they were was heartbreaking.
