I loved my office environment and the opportunities to learn more about healthcare through grand rounds, trainings, and shadowing experiences.
What I wish was different
I wish that my project had been a little more structured - I appreciated independence but I often felt like I was being left to come up with my own work to do.
Advice
The interview is really important in the selection process, so I would be prepared with questions about the department and project you are interviewing for to show your interest.
