The year was different because of COVID, normally we work with children all summer. This year I spent most of my time concerned with admin duties, database or clerical work. I was able to build on some professional skills and it felt like time well spent.
What I wish was different
I do miss working with the kids and it is enjoyable to be able to sit-in on the art classes. Social contact has been sparse, obviously.
Advice
Be patient. Be open to suggestions and other ideas.
