What I liked

I enjoyed the freedom of work that was given to myself and the colleagues who worked with me. This manifested in the idea that we had the authority to choose the work we did, the timescale, the method, and the environment in which we worked in.

What I wish was different

This company took hours very seriously in a way that made it basically forbidden to work on projects overtime. I would have liked to take some things home more often and work on them independently on my own time.

Advice

Employers want you to be independent and capable of working for yourself without significant direction from a supervisor or mentor. You should be comfortable problem solving yourself and having enough initiative to find solutions before issues are ever even brought up.
