Video Production Intern

What I liked

I liked getting to have hands on experience with a commercial production company. Much of what I have done in the way of film as MSU has been fiction film, so seeing the commercial side of this industry was time well spent.

What I wish was different

I wish there would have been more tasks for me to do, honestly. I was very busy when I was on shoots, but there wasn't always office work for me to do, because a lot of times my coworkers would forget that they could delegate work to me.

Advice

Going into this internship, I was frustrated with myself for not securing a job in LA or NY like a lot of my friends. This experience actually ended up being the best for me, as I had a super flexible boss and was able to take classes and travel this summer as well.
