What I liked

I liked being my own boss and setting my own schedule. I liked being rewarded based on my skill in selling rather than just how much I worked (and the commission was super good).

What I wish was different

I wish that my supervisors had not been so invasive and calling me every morning and night and between demos.

Advice

Realize your supervisors will try to push you really hard. This experience is as intense or casual as you make it.

What I liked

I am by no means a sales person, so I think going into this job alone was thrilling. It made me step out of my box and because of it, I'm more well-rounded than I was before. Also, the staff and my coworkers are such great people. It was fun going to meetings with them. They made the job all the more exciting for me.

What I wish was different

I wish I had more time to spend doing this job because it truly is lucrative and like I said, the team is so great. I just had school, practices, and all sorts of other things happening in my life so I couldn't commit to it as fully as I had wished.

Advice

No matter what you're going into or doing, might not even be job related, but in life itself.....if something is ever out of your comfort zone, don't automatically say no. Try it out. But don't just try it out to say you did...actually have an open mind to it. The worst that could happen is you can confirm to yourself that what you're doing just isn't right for you. All the better now because you know exactly what you want. But don't just swipe away a great opportunity just because it might be a bit daunting or unfamiliar.

Advice

I would share the advice to let things brush off your shoulder. In customer service, you can get called all types of names and people can be very rude. Don't take anything personally, it is just a job and you don't know those people and will never see them.
