I really enjoyed the enlightening atmosphere and the encouragement the office brought to excel not only academically but personally as well.
What I wish was different
I wish it was a longer program as we ran out of time in the end doing our research.
Advice
If you are passionate about it, do it. I never thought I would be selected to do this research project but I applied and got the spot and it was honestly one of the best experiences I’ve had at CSUSB.

What I liked
I liked the comraderie of the lab environment, how engaging the projects are, and that everyone is undergoing the same or similar research process as you.
What I wish was different
Nothing.
Advice
Make sure to make your availabilities know to the lab manager and professor throughout the research process. They are very understanding about life happening, and we all work together.
