Shift Leader

August - December 2019 • Thornton, CO

What I liked

I love the job. It is a lot of fun. I had good co-workers and a good team to work with. We had a lot of fun together and worked really hard to provide the best possible customer service. I loved having the opportunity to be a shift leader. I learned so much about myself and about hard work.

What I wish was different

I wish I found out about the job sooner. I would love to work there again in the future.

Advice

Work hard and treat others with kindness. You never know what someone is going through, even a smile can help them find strength. And when you work hard, you can find more confidence in yourself and leadership opportunities.

What I liked

The cookies were fun to make and they tasted good too!

What I wish was different

I wish my manager was more organized and trained people better.

Advice

I would not work at the location I worked at because of the manager, but I would see about a different location. I would make sure you fully understand what is expected of you before joining, and I would make sure you feel fully trained on everything.

What I liked

The enviroment and my coworkers were both a lot of fun. It was a relatively easy job and being able to actually bake hundreds of cookies everyday was an experience I’ll always be fond of.

What I wish was different

I wish the shifts were spaced a little differently. I think this would’ve helped more people to be able to work more of the hours. Part of the reason I didn’t keep this job for the school year was that the hours don’t work well as a student.

Advice

Always work hard at whatever it is you’re doing and and be good to your supervisors in a work setting because it can literally pay off. People will always notice emoloyees with strong work ethic!
