Communicate with your co-workers early on if you have any scheduling conflicts; don't wait until the last minute.

I liked working with a great team of other Summer Conference Coordinators and having the chance to work with many different camps and meet camp leaders.

Wish there would have been a significantly smaller amount of laundry to do.

What I liked
Working as a desk receptionist is a great way to get to know your fellow students, whether you're in a freshman/sophore hall or upperclassmen apartments. It was great getting to meet and help many students
What I wish was different
Not much, it was a very laid back job and I enjoyed most of it
Advice
Always try to help out your fellow desk receptionists if they post grab hours. Helping others goes a long way when you need help yourself!
