I like being able to be more of a leader in the Recreation and Wellness Team. I have wonderful experience working with professional staff, as well as student staff.
What I wish was different
Nothing! I really enjoy working in the Kiewit Fitness Center Main Office.
Advice
Know how to manage your time. With this experience, I have had weekly meetings with a supervisor, weekly scheduling for the office staff, and various administrative work for the department.

Recreation and Wellness Desk Worker

What I liked
I really like the flexibility of hours and availability for working at Recreation and Wellness. If there is an emergency, people are willing to help you out and pick up a shift!
What I wish was different
The manager tries their best to give everyone their desired hours, but over the summer it was less than I would have liked.
Advice
This is a very nice job for someone wanting to be able to work on homework during work. However, laptops are not accepted, so print readings/bring paper homework.
