What I liked

I loved that there was always communication here. If I did not understand a task, I always had a team to turn to for help. This compared to some of my other experiences makes the work environment here stellar! I also could go on forever about how much I learned about social media, and veterans through this experience. I loved getting to be involved with such a life-changing cause. Amazing team, amazing cause.

What I wish was different

I wish corona was not a factor!

Advice

Work hard, and you can go so far here. You pave your own path. Everything they say in the internship class at Belmont is correct.

What I liked

A good balance of autonomy as well as team-oriented tasks. I felt my role made a difference in the success of the organization.

What I wish was different

The pandemic meant we had to work remotely for much of the summer, and I feel I would have been more successful and engaged in an office setting. This in no way reflects back on the employer.

Advice

Use your valuable insight and expertise to bring new ideas to the table! Companies who hire interns really benefit from fresh perspectives.

More regimented schedule to meet/communicate.

It might seem intimidating at first, but keep pushing yourself. It really was a good experience to grow.
