What I liked

I absolutely loved everything about this internship - they set it up in a way where we not only had the opportunity to work closely and connect with the team we were on but also hear from a variety of professionals within the company and have the ability to network with others outside of our groups.

What I wish was different

The pay and the ability to get a direct return offer

Advice

Go in with an open mind and curiosity- you will have the opportunity to meet as many people as you can throughout all different sectors of the agency, so be open and curious to doing this and learning as much as possible. There are so many different avenues you can take within the agency, so your internship position is not the end all be all.

Comedy Touring Intern

What I liked

I loved interning at CAA. The Campus Team is great. Even though there were a lot of us interns, they took the time to know everyone's names and get to know us better. I also got to meet a lot of the other interns who are really cool people that I still talk to today. The intern projects were real, tangible assignments that actual agents at CAA do in their roles such as routing tours and pitching.

What I wish was different

Advice

Get to know as many people as you can. CAA is a powerhouse, and they only allow interns to intern once, so it'd be a shame not to meet as many people as you can.

It was an incredible learning experience. I felt like I did a deep dive into the entertainment business and learned the ins and outs of content creation.

What I wish was different

The only thing I wish had been different is I wish it had been longer.

Don't let yourself and personal insecurities hold yourself back, go after what you want.

Summer Intern - Football

What I liked

Really cool people, do super interesting stuff for famous athletes, actors, singers, etc. Got good work experience doing things agents do for players, like getting them marketing deals. Learned more about what agents do, how they do it, etc.

What I wish was different

Not remote.

Advice

Connect with specific people any way you can.Make sure they know your name. Super hard to do remotely, wish I could have gotten to know people more personably.

What I liked

The office was laid-back and friendly. I enjoyed the work ethic of everyone in the office and their abilities to communicate with all types of people.

What I wish was different

I worked on several events at the beginning of the summer. Towards August, they ran out of projects for me and I spent several days with nothing to do.
