I enjoyed the teamwork aspect of the Job. Everyone was really helpful, and it was easy to learn how to work ther.
What I wish was different
I wish they were a little more lenient on there strict dress code, but I understand why they want everyone to look uniform.
Advice
Give it a shot, Cracker Barrel is a restaurant where there is plenty of room to grow.

The atmosphere, communication, working on multitasking, customer service, the managers are willing to work with your school schedule. You can transfer to Cracker Barrels close to you while you are away at school.

Work Retail or Restaurant. You learn a lot from that and you can make some networks with the people you come into contact with.

What I liked
During my time with Cracker Barrel this summer, I enjoyed the numerous opportunities to network with corporate professionals, and gain further insight into what a career in Operations and Supply Chain is like. I loved spending time working with other interns and made life-long friends in the process.
What I wish was different
If there is anything I wish that could have been different, it would be having more knowledge into my career field to perform the assigned projects with a more informed idea of how to properly do so. I also wish that there was a sort of "intern etiquette" preparation on campus to have a better idea of what companies really expect from their interns and how to leave a great impression.
Advice
Apply for as many internships as you can! By far an experience I will forever be grateful for.

If you're looking for a decently paying job that's always hiring then this is a good start. it is an incredibly high pace environment and some customers can be incredibly rude so try to be as accommodating as possible

I wish that I could have taken on more hours. However, the PAR system there favors seniority over ability so I was given whatever shifts were leftover from the other employees.

Learn to get along with your fellow employees. Help them and they will help you which is something you need to understand to do well.
