I loved my boss. She was super sweet and supportive. She helped me adjust to my job and whatnot.
What I wish was different
I felt that my boss’s boss, who was the director of my team, did not utilize my skills well, and was not a very polite person.
Advice
Even if you’re not working in your field, you can still learn a lot from an internship in different ways.

What I liked
I had a great manager that made sure I had tasks that interested me and were at my level of experience.
What I wish was different
I think in retrospect that I would have invested more time into networking.
Advice
Definitely go after your own opportunities. People are very friendly at Covanta and willing to help you get involved in the things you are interested in!
