What I liked

I like how flexible the job is in regards to hours. Being a student, it comes in handy. Staff is very friendly and open to helping you.

What I wish was different

I wish I could have heard about this job sooner.

Advice

There are times during the season that not much work is needed, so If you need to pay rent or anything similar, I would suggest having a side job for those times.

Cabana Server

What I liked

I loved all the people there and it was a really fun environment to work in. Everybody is super understanding when it came to any scheduling concerns we might have had.

What I wish was different

Our managers were actually hospitality interns from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and at times they acted more like bosses than leaders, and that bothered me slightly especially since they were only a year or two older than me.

Advice

Working at a golf course was a great experience for me because I met so many people and learned many things. I've had serving experience before and it was nice to tie in bartending with serving at the cabana.
