What I liked
I was treated like a coworker. The project I was a part of was an actual application for a client, not something that I would develop and then remain unused. My coworkers were all very kind and it was always a joy to talk with them. They would help me solve difficult issues and would give suggestions if I could not figure out how to proceed. I got to work with a variety of team members and learned how to be a part of sprint meetings with the client. We also had a "tech lunch" once per week where we would get together and discuss a new technical topic. This was one of my favorite parts of the week because I got to learn more about new technologies and was able to hang out with my coworkers.
