I liked that this internship gave me some real world experience of how businesses function and the relationships you form with coworkers. Another aspect of this internship that I enjoyed was that it showed me some applications for the things I learned in my classes.
What I wish was different
I wish that I had interned at a larger corporation that had more needs and responsibilities for an intern. I was one of the first interns that this company had and there wasn't very much structure for tasks that i needed to complete. I also didn't have much of a passion for mining and aggregate engineering.
Advice
Seek out responsibilities for yourself on things that you are passionate about.
