I liked being in a professional atmosphere and being exposed to financial statements. I also like to work with team members and being able to learn new things.
What I wish was different
I wish the internship would have provided more structure and would have had more of a defined role, apposed to just being a helper.
Advice
If you are looking to join the GL Accounting team then this would be a great opportunity to learn more about accounting and be a part of a growing company.
Be sure to ask plenty of questions about what they will be having you do and be sure that it is structured and organized so that you aren't having a hard time because they don't have anything for you to do.
