The people I was working with were great—they were always happy to help me when I had questions. The work was interesting, and I got to learn a little bit of programming in R.
What I wish was different
I would have preferred my weeks to be a bit more predictable. For example, sometimes the client would ask for a certain analysis, and a week could become unexpectedly busy.
Advice
Really reach out and ask questions when you're confused. Everyone starts out knowing very little, and in my experience, one of the best ways to learn was to ask.

What I liked
The casework at Cornerstone was interesting and diverse. I worked on several cases, ranging from finance to healthcare; I learned new skills in R and SAS; and I met tons of intelligent people. The analysts at Cornerstone were typically in their early to late twenties, so there was also a great social atmosphere in the office.
What I wish was different
I wish I had lived closer to the office. There were great events happening at the office throughout the summer that I had difficulty attending because I lived an hour away.
Advice
Cornerstone is a great place to get feedback on your work. There are rigorous advising and mentoring programs. Do not be afraid to ask for feedback or advice!
