Changing jobs and moving closer to that job can be very challenging. Be sure to have lots of support and a back-up plan in case things don’t work out the way you would have liked them to. Be persistent so your employer knows how serious you are about wanting to work for them. Lastly, be ready to work hard to learn the companies specific operating procedures, rules, or anything else pertaining to their daily operations.
