The atmosphere was mostly relaxed with people of differing backgrounds than my own. I liked to see the development of my own communication skills as I grew as a waiter.
What I wish was different
The poor work ethic of my coworkers, inefficiencies of the business, and timing of certain events made the job difficult to enjoy at times.
Advice
Keep in mind the customers experience. What would you like or dislike seeing as a customer. Be empathetic to the customer and it will make life much easier.
