What I liked
I feel that I grew significantly in my knowledge of what this organization does and the issues they address, as well as in my own confidence to work in a field like this one. My supervisors and even my fellow interns were empowering, welcoming, and patient. I always felt valued, and I always felt (and continue to) that I could approach anyone to ask for help or advice. This internship was a great start for me as a young student with little experience in the public health field. I gained very useful resources, knowledge, and skills that have served me greatly since completing the internship.
