What I liked

Great coworkers! Everyone was always super friendly. The work was definitely not "busy work" because everything you did was eventually part of the final product used by the client. They also did an excellent job training the interns on the product(s) to which they were contributing. CDS constantly asked for feedback on the interns' experiences and definitely took that feedback to heart. Additionally, they had a bunch of events throughout the Summer like ice cream socials, catered lunches, etc. which were always really fun!

What I wish was different

COVID hit this company hard, and unfortunately my return the following Summer was cancelled because of it. This is definitely outside the company's control, so hopefully when the pandemic is over the company returns to business as usual (which I totally expect they will).

Advice

Always ask for help if you're stuck! Nobody is expecting you to know everything here, and lots of coworkers (even other interns that had been there a few summers) were always willing to explain things when I didn't understand something.
