What I liked

This was a really supportive and beneficial learning environment that I would recommend to anybody. Chad and Cartney truly go out of their way to empower and teach their interns.

What I wish was different

I would like to know more specifically about how to start a small business. As a small business that is minority and women owned, the founding of CPG is so core to their values and integrity as a business. They go out of their way for diversity and inclusion at every step of their business process, and that’s really important in a predominantly white, male business.

Advice

You really do have to be a self starter if you’re going to get the most out of this experience. I’m someone who takes pride in their work and welcomes feedback, and I think that’s important to keep in mind when applying. The founders take a lot of pride in their work too, and they will hold you to a high standard so that you really learn and benefit from this hands on experience.
