I wish there I had some more training, or time with other employees before beginning services with my first client.
Advice
Study the material you may have forgotten from previous psychology/educational/child dev classes. This job is an IN-HOME THERAPY service, and the client's family can hear and sometimes see your session, which is intimidating when you've just learned how to do the job. Also, it was nerve-wracking to admit to parents you've only just began, and that your about to spend two hours with their child prompting and recording specific behaviors!!
