What I liked

Very Professional! They really worked with any other schedule that you had for any other activities you were involved with. There’s so many locations that you can get assigned to a location near your house. Hours are great, and the training is very informative and relevant to the job. Also, you get a 15 minute PAID break every hour!

What I wish was different

Different locations had different amenities. Ex: Some locations had access to a microwave and a mini fridge and others didn’t, and some locations had an office/space designated solely for the lifeguard. I wish that each location had the same amenities available.

Advice

This is a lifeguard job, so it would be very helpful if you knew how to swim, but even if you don’t they have an option for you to be a shallow water lifeguard, meaning you would only guard pools that only had shallow-height water. Also, the job requires you to be in the sun for multiple hours at a time, and you may be subjected to really hot days.

Advice

This is a great company to work for. They will re hire you every summer, cover your training costs, give you the amount of hours that you want to work, and are flexible with pay.
