My supervisor was extremely involved! I spoke to her every day and she made sure I had projects to work on and was feeling engaged with my work. There was also a lot of programming planned specially for the interns which helped me learn a lot. I was able to do substantive work that was useful to my team.
What I wish was different
I was working remotely and it would have been fun to be in the office and meet my colleagues
Advice
Take advantage of the incredible CLF network. I arranged probably 5+ coffee chats with a bunch of different folks around the org that I found interesting and they were so helpful. Everyone was eager to talk with me and share their life experiences.
