I like how I was able to really have one-on-one interactions with Congresswoman Speier's constituents. I also like how I was given the opportunity to work real cases impacting real people.
What I wish was different
I know the Congresswoman is a busy woman but I wish I had the opportunity to meet her. She was really never in the office when I was working (Mondays and Wednesdays) so I never got the chance to meet her.
Advice
Always ask for work if there is nothing assigned to you. Don't just wait to be given work, you have to ask for it. If your main supervisor has nothing to give you, ask other staff members.
