It was a great introduction into a branch of government I was interested in exploring. The environment was very collaborative and inclusive, even for interns. I had the opportunity to explore various different areas (i.e. tariffs, marijuana, education, taxes, health care, etc.) and assist on many projects in the three months I was interning.
