What I liked
I liked learning how local congressional offices work and what day to day duties look like. It was interesting to learn about how constituents are helped depending on their cases.
What I wish was different
I wish that there were more tasks and duties for interns. Tasks were very repetitive.
Advice
If you are going to intern at a congressional office or at any politically related internship for that matter, there are going to be people that disagree with you. I had to answer many calls from angry constituents; you have to learn not to take it personally.
