It was an amazing opportunity to learn about research applications in fields not exactly related to my major of study. The faculty was extremely supportive and interactive.
What I wish was different
I wish I had lived on campus so I could have participated in more events through the internship.
Advice
Do not be afraid to ask the question because that thought could be the leader of your research/data/experiment.

What I liked
The opportunity to connect with other departments on campus as well as planning a welcoming orientation for new cui students.
What I wish was different
In the summer you work about 30 hours a week, but then during the school year it gets cut down to 5 hours a week. I wish more hours were offered in the school year.
Advice
Use this opportunity to grow in your professional and build relationships with other student leader groups as well as other departments on campus.
