I loved how energetic the kids were. I also loved how the staff where fun but yet direct and stern when they needed to be.
What I wish was different
I felt like sometime my boss had to high of expectations for these kids when doing some of the activities they planned. Yes the kids are bright but it is a summer camp and I feel like kids should be having fun outside not being stuck inside for the majority of the day.
Advice
This job can get very overwhelming/over stimulating real quickly sometimes. Make sure you are taking care of you over the summer as well.

What I liked
I loved working with the kids! They were the best to work with even if there were a few bumps in the road. The program also has a good mission that made it even more rewarding to work for.
What I wish was different
I wish this couldn’t just be a summer job. If I had the time, I would definitely go back.

Be positive! Staying positive will only give you good results.
