I liked that this agency provided me with the right tools and resources to be able to get a better insight on what social work is going to look like in the future. It really showed the side of working in the field that I wanted to learn when I started this internship.
What I wish was different
I wish I had more time. Due to me being a block placement student I was unable to have a full year at my internship and felt rushed. However, I still got a full learning experience and everyone on their team was inviting and helpful.
Advice
Be a sponge. Always be aware of what is going on around you and use every experience as a learning tool for not only yourself but others around you.
