“During my experience at the Committee, I really enjoyed being able to use everything that I had learned in class on the job. I was also able to teach them some things about what we learn at Dillard to make their job easier. My most memorable experience was being able to be in a room full of Congressmen and Congresswomen, presidents of important companies like Google and Facebook, etc., and be able to capture moments and write press releases & media advisories that were sent out to the public. This summer opportunity not only allowed me to expand on my knowledge of communications and learn about government, but I also was able to meet some pretty great people. ”
