The environment was very friendly and was more than willing to help me learn the ropes of working as a staff researcher.

What I wish was different

I wish onboarding to the role would have been slightly less tedious, as it took a while to be officially considered an employee.

Advice

Be open and willing to learn. Also, do not be scared to ask questions when you are confused about anything with regard to the lab.
